Mrs. Hazel Lee Bunting

Minister Hazel Wallace Bunting was born October 13, 1954 to Nelson and Mildred Wallace of Pine Bluff, AR. Hazel graduated from Pine Bluff High School in 1972. Hazel had a passion to serve people. She worked as a Pharmacy Tech in Walmart Pharmacy, Holiday Inn Express Hotel, and Hazel was blessed to retire from University of Arkansas of Medical Science(UAMS). Fishing was one of her loves, and taking care of her family was the highest priority. Hazel used her smile to spread the love of God to anyone she met. Hazel was baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of her sins and received the gift of the Holy Ghost in Lakeland, Florida. Hazel was a faithful member of the Agape Community Temple of Servants(ACTS) in North Little Rock, AR. She served in various capacities as a Minister, Special Project Coordinator, Choir Member, Christian Education Teacher and served as a member of the Culinary team. She was united in holy matrimony to Deacon James Albert Bunting Jr. on October 4, 2000. Hazel was preceded in death by her parents: Nelson and Mildred Wallace, two sisters: Naomi “Cookie” Webb, Martha Carpenter, one grandchild: Richard, and one great grandchild: Odyn. Hazel “Suga Pie” leaves to cherish her memories, her devoted husband of 24 years; James Albert Bunting Jr. ; four daughters: Angela Wallace of Houston, TX; Tawna(Clint) Roundtree of Lakeland, Fl; Tanisha ”Navette” Coleman of Pine Bluff, AR; Brandi(Steve) Brand of Odessa, TX, two sons: Damian(Morgan) Bunting of Portland, OR., and Leonard ”Noonie” Rountree II of North Little Rock, AR.; seven sisters: Freddie Mae Wallace of Long Beach, CA; Catherine Wyrick of Pine Bluff, AR; Rosezenia Wallace of Omaha, NE; Carolyn(Kevin) Carson of Barstow, FL; Jerlean(Chris) Hinton of Pine Bluff, AR; Catrena (Sergio) Araujo of Cabot, AR; Charlene(Charles) Welch of Lakeland, FL and three brothers: Elder Robert(Mae) Wallace of Pine Bluff, AR; Deacon Billy Ray(Sandra) Wallace of Pine Bluff, AR; and Anthony “Nene”(Lena) Wallace of Omaha, NE; sixteen grandchildren: Laquavia “Quasha”, Angelo “Ben”, Torii, Janetria “Neekadoo”, Tommy, Derrick, Kenneth, Diamond, Ty’nesha, Lawrence, Leon, Zoe, Elijah, Peyton, Kennedy, and River; twelve great grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins will cherish all of the family events and memories.
