Ola B. Williams-Castille

Ola B. Williams-Castille was born March 24, 1945 in Scott, Arkansas to the late Esaw Mitchell and Maeola Foster. Ola was one of nine children. Ola entered into eternal rest on November 5, 2022 at the age of 77 surrounded by her loved ones. Ola was educated in the Little Rock School District and later furthered her education by acquiring her nursing certificate and becoming a Licensed Practical Nurse in 1977. She worked diligently in the field of nursing for over 40 years and retired from the Department of Veterans Affairs in 2013, but continued in the nursing field working for Robinson Nursing and Rehabilitation Center and The Lakes at Maumelle – Health and Rehabilitation, where she ended her journey in March 2020. Ola accepted Christ as her personal Lord and Savior at an early age. In her early years, she attended Duncan United Methodist Church; however, she later became a member of the Reach Out & Touch Christian Church (ROTCC) under the leadership of her son, Pastor Dave H. Williams, IV, where she labored fervently in the vineyard as head of the Hospitality Committee for over 13 years. Ola loved the Lord and she always talked of Him being “Her Father”! She was preceded in death by her first husband, Dave H. Williams, III and daughter, Pamela Walker. Ola leaves to cherish her memory her four children, Dave “Wilson” Williams, IV (Lisa), Dexter Williams, Michelle Williams, and Christy Williams all of Little Rock, Arkansas; 17 grandchildren, Laquisha Luckie, Phillip Williams, Lanisha Walker, Clarence Walker, Jr., Alteso Walker, Latoya Birt-Williams, Erica Williams, Gabrielle Williams, Danielle Oliver, Brianna Hodge, Brian Hodge, Jr., Charity Williams all of Little Rock, Arkansas; Jasmine Higgins of Frisco, Texas, Robbie Walker of Santa Barbara, California, Darius Williams of Detroit, Michigan, Keyara Williams of Atlanta, Georgia, and Christopher Conner of Murfreesboro, Tennessee; 24 great-grandchildren; 8 great great-grandchildren; 5 siblings, Bernestine Mitchell, LeRoy Mitchell, and Gladys Taylor (Coley) all of Westbury, New York; Elijah Mitchell (Donna Sue) and Ann Gilbert-Hampton (Jeff) of Little Rock, Arkansas; two sisters-in-law, Ella Vample and Geraldine Mitchell and one brother-in-law, Hyman Williams, all of Little Rock, Arkansas; a host of nieces(special ones - Detra & Pookum), nephews, cousins, friends (Joyce McKay and Pat Winston) , and a beautiful, loving church family at ROTCC. Ola will be deeply missed. We know that she will continue to watch over us until our day has come. Our cherished memories of her will reign forever in our hearts!
