Princess Brileigh Nicole Moody

On July 4, 2020, God found favor in us by giving our family earthly stewardship over His precious angel, Brileigh Nicole Moody. We only had her for a little longer than a year before God, in His infinite wisdom, called her back to be with Him. We love her and will miss her, but we try not to mourn like those who have no hope. We know she is in her Creator’s loving care and those in Christ will see her again someday. It is painful that she had to leave so soon, but God comforts us and reminds us of the blessings He sent through her. We’ll always cherish so many wonderful memories of witnessing Brileigh’s happy, laid back personality and the positive impact she had on others. She lovingly was her mama’s shadow and daddy’s FaceTime buddy. Mutual joy was shared when she spent time with her Gan Gan and Nana or laughed with her cousins QJ and Kayleigh. She made everyone who met her smile a little bigger, laugh more often, and praise God always for the favor He showed when sending her. We can’t help but see God as we reflect on her life and passing. Through her, He reminds us that life is short. While we still have breath we should be happy, spread love, not stress, and be right with God through Jesus Christ because someday we’ll also have to meet our sovereign Maker. No one knows the day and hour the Lord will call us home. Therefore, there are two important questions to ask as you reflect on Brileigh’s brief life and unexpected passing: “Did you show those you care about that you love them today?” and “Are you ready to bow before the Lord?” If your answer to either is “No”, Brileigh should remind you not to wait because it can be too late. She was preceded in death by; great grandfather, Marvin Murray Moody; great grandmother, Bobbie Williams’ great grandfather, Arthur Williams, Sr.; great grandmother, Georgia Lee Crudup Boyd; uncle, Miquel Boyd; and cousins, Kennedy Hale and Kyslie Dillard. She leaves to cherish her memory, her parents, Blake Moody, Sr. and Gabriel Dillard; sister, Bre’asia Moody; brother, Blake Moody, Jr; grandmother, Audrey Rankin; grandmother, A’shia Boyd; grandfather, Leslie Dillard; grandparents, Pastor Vernon (Ruby) Moody, Sr.; great grandparents, Linda (Lee) Johnson; great grandparents, Linda (Howard) Gilbert; great grandmother, Kathryn Dillard; aunts/great aunts and uncles, Vernon (LaTerrica) Moody, Jr., April Mitchell (Brad), Krystal Tate (Lance), Darius Boyd, Lesley Dillard, Maya Dillard, Leslie Dillard, Tiawanna Boyd, Tiffany Pruitt (Andre) and Tracy Hill (Chris); god mother, Na’kiah Grayson; god sister, Kynslei Ruth; special cousins, Dallas Scott, Aylric Edwards, Ashiya Smith, India Hale and Kelsey Williams and a host of other relatives/family and friends survive her.
