Ronald Dewayne Williams Jr.

Ronald Dewayne Williams Jr., 38, was born on April 2, 1987, in Little Rock, Arkansas, to the late Ronald Dewayne Williams Sr. and Dorothy J. Williams. He was the baby of four children. His siblings loved him dearly and affectionately called him “Junior.” As he grew older, friends and family fondly knew him as Ron or RJ. At a young age, he professed his faith and love for the Lord at First Baptist Church Highland Park, a foundation that remained an important part of his life. During his high school years, he was an outstanding athlete. He wrestled and excelled in every sport he played, including football, basketball, baseball, and soccer. Highly competitive by nature, Ronald worked hard to succeed and always gave his best effort, determined to win no matter the task. In school, Ronald took his studies seriously. At an early age, he was in the Gifted and Talented Program and excelled in his studies throughout school years. Ronald lived a life filled with curiosity, adventure, and genuine connection with others. From an early age, he had a love for people and an excitement for travel. He was also known for his sharp mind and his love of a good debate, never shying away from discussing any topic and always bringing a wealth of knowledge gained from his experiences as a world traveler. That passion for exploration led him to a career with Delta Airlines, where he proudly worked for many years. His dedication and service eventually allowed him to earn retiree status and the treasured lifetime flight privileges that came with it. Through his work and travels, Ronald, fondly called Ron or RJ, flew all over the world, experiencing new cultures and building friendships that spanned continents. No matter where he went, he had a gift for making people feel special. Ronald never met a stranger. His warm personality, quick smile, and willingness to share advice and encouragement made a lasting impression on everyone he encountered. RJ truly lived life with no regrets and embraced every opportunity to experience the world around him. Ronald had many passions beyond travel. He loved to cook and took pride in making sure his deep freezer was always full of food no matter which state he called home, whether Little Rock, Atlanta, Dallas, or Washington, DC. He departed this life on March 10, 2026. Though his earthly presence is no longer here, Ronald will be remembered for his adventurous spirit, his kindness, and his ability to bring people together. He cherished the friendships he made throughout his life and especially valued the opportunities his career gave him to explore the world. He leaves behind his loving mother, Dorothy J. Williams; sisters, Melanie Woodard of Grand Prairie, Texas, Kiffany Pride of Little Rock, Arkansas, and Stephanie Williams of Fort Worth, Texas; brother, Antonio Finney of Little Rock, Arkansas; along with many other relatives and dear friends who will cherish his memory. Ronald’s life was a testament to connection, adventure, and generosity of spirit. The memories he created, the friendships he formed across the globe, and the kindness he shared with others will continue to live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.
