Mr. Zayne Lesley Tyler

Zayne Lesley Tyler, age 25, was born on February 8, 2000 in Little Rock, Arkansas to the care of his parents, John and Carolyn Tyler. He was preceded in death by both paternal and maternal grandfathers, the late John Tyler Sr., and Reverend W. L. Palmer, and his favorite cousins, Larry “Big Love” Ellis and Warren “Randy” Miller Jr. He was a 2018 graduate of Parkview Arts and Science Magnet High School where he was a member of the Parkview Patriots Football team. Zayne came to Christ early, accepted the Gift of Salvation and was baptized at Longley Missionary Baptist Church in Little Rock. There, he was active in the Youth Ministry as a Junior Usher. Zayne attended Pulaski Technical College from 2017-2019. Meanwhile, he was employed at Pepsi, Inc and The Kohler company. He was currently employed by Rineco Management, Inc in Haskell, AR prior to his transition. He was described by his supervisor as a hard worker and just an all-around “good guy.” “Ted,” as he was affectionately called by his nephews and cousins, loved spending time with them laughing and having a good time. He loved music and watching movies. Zayne was so very loved by all of his family and anyone whom he came into contact with appreciated his energy. His quiet spirit and his physical presence would illuminate wherever he went. His life and spirit will continue to live on through his parents, John and Carolyn Tyler; one sister, Megon Dade (Lawrence); two older brothers, DeMarcus Tyler (Mary) of Cotton Plant, AR and Torrey Tyler of Little Rock; three surrogate sisters, Krystal Watson (Matthew), Cecely Robertson, and Ashley Watkins of Little Rock; one surrogate brother, Matthew Taylor. paternal grandmother, “Grandma Billie” Tyler of Memphis, TN and maternal grandmother, “Big Granny” Katheron Palmer of Cotton Plant, AR; five nephews, Shaquille Fields (Warda) of Brooklyn Center, MN, Cameron Bush, Jaydan Bush and Chandler Robinson of Bryant, AR and Torrey “TJ” Tyler Jr. of Little Rock, AR; Two nieces, Torianna Tyler of Fayetteville, NC and Grace Tyler of Cotton Plant, AR. His life will continue to live also by his “Forever Friend” for life, Joy Robinson of Wrightsville, AR. His life-long mentor/barber, Mike Hutchins, had a fond heart for Zayne. Even though Zayne was a 3rd generation of the Palmer legacy, he was more closely connected by age to his 2nd cousins and yes, they will truly miss him: Khari Withers Jr., Kaisey Withers, Jason “Flip” Spencer, Khrystle Releford, RJ Releford, Kalon Palmer (first cousin), Aiden Purifoy, Arrionna Purifoy, Jadren Flonoy, William Johnson (first cousin), Nia Burks, McKinnley Toney, Tyler Palmer, Quincy Jones Jr., Chastity Patterson, Tarvaras Patterson, Diamond Clark, and Stacia Gulley (first cousin). Zayne leaves a legacy of love for all of his adult first cousins, aunts, uncles, relatives, friends and co-workers.
